The Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation is saddened by the loss of cherished community member Barbara Day. Day dedicated her life to servicing the community. Day’s goodwill, generosity and commitment to others will be greatly missed. Day consulted and engaged in community outreach at the Jacobs Center, and led the initial public offering (IPO) for Jacobs as she sought to redevelop the neighborhood where she grew up, affording its residents improved services and support.
