Writerz Blok is launching an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to raise money to expand its facility and add more
hands-on creative job training programs.
THE GOAL: $25,000
With this money Writerz Blok plans to:
• Build new classroom space and expand its programs to include classes in graphic design, screen-printing, web development, and coding.
• Build a pop-up retail space to sell merchandise, teach youth managerial skills, and generate revenue for its programs.
• Expand its Yard and install permanent walls for graffiti art and murals.

Free overflow parking is available across the street at the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center, 404 Euclid Ave., San Diego, CA 92114.
The event will include live musical performances from Reclaiming the Community, thChrch, and some of San Diego’s hottest DJs. It will also feature live graffiti art demonstrations by renowned artists including Dyse, Hasle and live screen-printing by The Roots Factory. Attendees can bring their own T-shirt and get a free Writerz Blok design printed on it.
