ProKatchers is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in State College, Pennsylvania.

Shift: \n\nEvenings - 8 hour shifts; Start times vary between 11:00 and 1330 includes weekend work

\n Work Experience: \n\n\n

\n\t
• The Clinical Staff/Ambulatory Pharmacist provides comprehensive patient care services through inpatient pharmacy functions, including but not limited to order entry/verification, medication checking/dispensing and other pertinent tasks that ensure safe and effective use of medications.
\n\t
• The Pharmacist may also rotate into ambulatory roles such as anticoagulation clinic services, oncology or others as determined by Manager.
\n\t
• The Clinical Staff/Ambulatory Pharmacist will be involved in patient care activities supporting a variety of patient populations, ranging from geriatrics to pediatrics.
\n\t
• Recent hospital experience preferred.
\n\t
• If rotating to an Ambulatory position:Pharmacy residency experience preferred.
\n\t
• Knowledge of all current state and federal laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
\n\t
• Ability to positively interact with other pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, providers, nurses, other health system employees, and medical sales representatives.
\n\t
• If rotating to the Anticoagulation Clinic: Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
\n\t
• Receives minimal supervision from the Pharmacy Manager and Supervisors.
\n

\n Education: \n\n\n

\n\t
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
\n\t
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred. 
\n

\n\n License: \n\n\n

\n\t
• Advanced practice certifications preferred
\n\t
• Current license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy or eligible for reciprocation in Pennsylvania within 90 days of hire.
\n

\n Certifications:
\nBLS/CPR Certification.\n
