LEGENDS & THE BUFFALO BILLS The Buffalo Bills & Legends have an expansive partnership to support all aspects of the Bills New Stadium project including stadium design, planning, feasibility studies, project management, data analytics, marketing and holistic revenue generation across partnerships, ticketing, and suite sales. THE ROLE We are seeking an energetic, responsible graphic design intern to join our growing organization. Legends is committed to nurturing college students with interest in a career in sports and entertainment, by providing internship opportunities that will mentor you the "Legendary Way." This includes providing opportunities for students to learn and grow professionally while stimulating their excitement for Legends and the industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Under the direction of the Marketing team, the intern will assist in the development and execution of a wide variety of deliverables for all departments.
- Assist the Graphic Designer with various projects and tasks, contributing to the creative process and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality designs.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with changing priorities.
- Collaborate with teammates to complete assigned daily/weekly tasks.
- Bring a creative "outside" perspective to the tasks/projects you are working on.
- Attend all Spring Intern related events throughout the ten-week period.
- Complete a capstone project related to marketing and graphic design in the sports and entertainment industry.
- Proactively communicate with various departments in the corporate office as well as other Legends partners throughout the country.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. *
Portfolio must be submitted in order to be considered - Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree with major coursework in Digital Art & Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or a closely related field.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite on MAC; specifically, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign - experience with After Effects and Adobe Premiere is a plus.
- Knowledge in digital best practices, layout design and typography.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask multiple projects at once.
- Detail oriented and highly organized with a strong work ethic.
COMPENSATION Hourly wage $15.50
