Job Title: Financial Analyst, Financial Business Analyst

Location: New York City

Financial Business Analyst working with Banking operations, ERP Systems (such as Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream, SAP, or Workday) General Ledger, Receivables, Fixed income, Equities documenting Workflow and reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint to create data for one source for standard business hierarchy

· Financial Analyst on the business operation side

· FP&A oversees reference data

· Seeking to create one source for single hierarchy to stabilize in to one business hierarchy

· Maintain data in Excel, PowerPoint,

· Banking industry experience (fixed income, equities,) etc.

· Work on the business ops side, IT experience as a user.

Main skills

1. Excel, PowerPoint,

2. Banking industry at a top 10 bank, (JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley)

3. ERP Systems as a user. (Oracle, Hyperion, One Stream, SAP, Workday) know how to extract data

· Familiar with workflow and documentation

· Familiar with Receivables, expenses and General Ledger.

Financial Analyst, Business Financial Analyst

Work schedule: Hybrid – Alternate weeks staggered Thurs – Fri

· We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst Consultant to support FP&A in a critical implementation of a reference data tool that will host the company’s Standard Business (Organizational) hierarchy. There is already a project roadmap in place. The ideal candidate has experience in investment banking industry, is skilled in Excel and PowerPoint. This role requires both business and technical expertise, a meticulous approach to data accuracy, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams during a transformative phase.

Key Responsibilities:

· Partner with FP&A and IT and other corporate functions to validate structure integrity during the one-time implementation, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting structures.

· Build and maintain Standard Business Hierarchy in Excel in the interim stage and support the integration of the tool to ERP system (OneStream), Workday and other Finance related systems in UTA and go-live.

· Reconcile discrepancies between FP&A ERP systems, reference data tool.

· Document workflow and train end-users on the new tool.

· Understand how to design and implement hierarchical frameworks that support governance, reporting accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Skills:

· Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or business relevant majors

· 5+ years of experience in financial/bank services industry

· Proficiency in Excel and PPT, ERP tool such as Hyperion and OneStream

· Excellent understanding of Organization Hierarchy and Income Statement databases in multiple dimensions: Business line, Entities, Head office reporting etc.

· Excellent problem-solving and communications skills and attention to detail

· Preferred Qualifications:

· Knowledge of Business and General Ledger concepts (profit/cost center, trade books, revenues and expenses) at an investment bank

· Experience with EPM tools such as Hyperion and OneStream, ERP tools such as SAP/Workday
