Job Description

Our company is seeking a dedicated DFL Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying dry film lubricant or paint finishes on anodized aluminum parts using an air brush painter or other equipment. You will also be expected to mix paints and other solutions, monitor application to achieve desired results, and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance. Responsibilities

• Process parts through Dry Film Lubricant and touch up paint to meet daily production requirements.
• Set-up new jobs (new part types, customers, etc.) as required.
• Perform operator level maintenance and facilitate other maintenance through internal resources and external supplier(s).
• Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production and testing capabilities using appropriate tools.
• Record inspection or test data and quantities measured/tested; complete other documentation as required.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with employees to ensure necessary information is collected and communicated to ensure limited production down time.
• Assist with hiring, training, and supervising additional operator(s) as demand increases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• On-the-job training or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet department goals.
• Attention to detail.
