*Title:*Nurse Practitioner -Fridays & Saturdays 9am-1pm for PRN

Part Time: flexible 20-40hrs per week

North Augusta Office Hours:

Mondays & Wednesdays 9am-5pm

Tuesdays & Thursdays 9am-7pm

Fridays & Saturdays 9am-1pm

*Job Summary*
* Assesses, diagnoses and treats obesity and related issues, independently and as part of a healthcare team.
* *General Accountabilities*
* Analyzes and interprets patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
* Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
* Prescribes medications.
* Educates patients about balanced nutrition and exercise.
* Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests.
* Maintains complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans.
* Detects and responds to adverse drug reactions.
* Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations for nurse practitioner practice.

*Job Qualifications*
* Education: Master's degree
* Experience: 1-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Licenses/Certifications: FNP Certification, Prescriptive Authority, & DEA License
