Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee beverages. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for coffee and a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils, equipment, and service and seating areas.
• Checks temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Describes menu items to customers or suggests products that might appeal to them.
• Upsell additional products or specials to increase sales
• Provides customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions as requested.
• Receives and processes customer payments.
• Assist with food preparation, such as sandwiches or pastries
• Stocks customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items.

Job Qualifications

• Experience: A few months to one year of related experience
• Proficient in operating POS systems, such as Clover POS
• Experience in cash handling and basic math skills
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
• Familiarity with food industry hygiene standards
• Strong sales skills to promote additional products or specials
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
