RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate daily floor activity to include weighing, loading, and unloading trucks, weighing for inventory of all ingots.
• Maintain ingot and scrap warehouses in a clean and orderly fashion. All scrap will be stacked safely in their proper areas while maximizing storage capacity.
• Regulate red tag area and ensure all scrap in the red tagged area for over 60 days will be disposed of, at the Plant Manager’s discretion.
• Develop and monitor the shipping department’s daily performance and ensure all members provide a pleasant image to all customers they come into contact with.
• Monitor that supply goods are delivered to their appropriate areas.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed.
• Accountable for the accuracy of all paperwork in the department: logs, shipments, BOL, shift report, scrap inspection report and others as required.
• Coordinate warehouse schedules.
• Clean and straighten out ingots.
• Re-band and re-straighten ingots.
• Weigh all incoming and outgoing ingots.
• Spot checking and verifying weights on incoming loads.

• Must be willing to work in a foundry manufacturing environment, where working conditions can be hot or cold depending on external temperatures.
• Must be willing to follow all safety protocol and wear all required PPE
