A Urology Physician at a 160-bed acute care community hospital in southern Connecticut provides inpatient and outpatient care, treating acute and chronic urological conditions including male sexual health. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, collaborating with medical staff, ensuring billing compliance, and participating in call rotations. An expanding non-profit, hospital-owned 160-bed acute care community hospital with more than 300 medical providers in southern Connecticut is adding a Urologist.

Opportunity Details:

• Team of 5 Urologists along with seasoned support staff
• Inpatient and outpatient
• Treat acute and chronic illnesses associated with general urology and male sexual health.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Perform surgical procedures needed to diagnosis and treat urological disorders.
• Collaborate on improvement in care delivery and service with management, other physicians and staff.
• Work with practice management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements.
• Work with hospital and practice leadership to expand clinical capabilities of the practice and market the practice.
• Provide on call coverage for Urology. Call rotation is 1 in 3

• Base salary plus incentive compensation based on productivity and quality measures
