We're currently looking for a Temporary Full Time Overnight Nanny in Orinda, CA 94563

A lovely family in Orinda is seeking a temporary full time overnight nanny to start in late March or early April. The baby will be 1 month old at the time care begins. Care is needed Sunday-Thursday, from 10pm to 6am. The family offers the flexibility to allow the nanny to rest while the baby is sleeping. There is a friendly golden doodle in the home; though no pet care is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with both infant care and sleep conditioning/training, along with a kind and professional disposition.

• Start date: Late March/April 2025
• Length of position: 4-6 weeks
• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am
• Compensation: $30-$35 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Establishing good sleep habits through sleep training methods
• All aspects of infant care, including diaper changes and bottle feedings
• Washing of bottles and pump parts, as-needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of paid, professional newborn care experience (children aged 0-3 months)
• Sleep conditioning/training experience
• Valid driver's license + reliable vehicle
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• CPR certified or willing to become certified
• Comfortable with friendly dogs
• Smoking not permitted on premises
• Vaccinated for Covid, Flu, and TDaP
• Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater
• Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
