Stevens Construction Corp. is a commercial general contractor with self-performed trades of concrete, carpentry, and prefabricated walls. We are headquartered in Madison, WI with construction sites throughout Wisconsin & Minnesota. We specialize in the new construction of various commercial, multi-unit, mixed-use buildings.

This is a full-time, year-round opportunity, with project durations of 12-24 months, for a Superintendent to work on-site with full benefit offerings:

The Superintendent is responsible for all construction efforts in the field to ensure project is safely constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.

  • Supervises all Stevens Construction personnel and subcontractors onsite to ensure work is completed accurately, safely and to our quality standards.
  • Develops, updates and tracks performance of construction schedule.
  • Maintain all jobsite paperwork: daily log, delivery tickets, field work orders, timecards, plans, specs and shop drawings, purchase orders, subcontracts, and project photos.
  • Manages and schedules punch list work with owner, architect, and subcontractors.
  • Enforces all jobsite safety requirements.
  • Creates a positive, professional, friendly environment onsite.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly jobsite.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience as a commercial new construction Project Superintendent from a general contractor or construction management firm
  • Multiple multi-unit, new construction projects from start to finish as the overall jobsite Superintendent
  • Ability to read, interpret, and edit construction schematics and documents electronically
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Suites and other project scheduling software
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds
