Akkodis is seeking a Senior UX Interaction Designer for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn MI . Strong hands-on with Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Product Design, and customer journeys. The Automotive Domain is a huge plus.

Rate Range: $70/hour to $72/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior UX Interaction Designer job responsibilities include:

• Designing lean, iterative, and development-ready solutions that scale for the future while considering current technology constraints.
• Leading product teams through the user-centred design process with workshops for discovery and ideation.
• Conducting user research and experiments, synthesizing findings to inform product design and strategy.
• Advocating for and applying a Human-Centered Design process across the organization.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure designs meet both user needs and business goals.
• Mentoring and coaching junior designers while taking ownership of UX design for projects.
• Sharing research insights and customer journeys to inspire the product organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in UX/Interaction/Product Design, with 2+ years leading collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
• Expertise in creating user-centered designs based on deep user research and collaboration.
• Strong experience in mentoring junior designers and leading design processes across various digital media.
