Job Description

Job Summary:

Assists the Real Estate Manager to manage Deaconess Health System's (and its subsidiaries) real estate portfolio, which includes both leased and owned properties.

Job Duties

• Prepare Lease abstracts in Prolease
• Process and track Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreements § Utilities (transfer in and out of DHI, DC, etc.)
• Lease document processing (coversheet, DocuSign, create file, inter Prolease)
• Track vacant space within owned properties in Prolease
• Maintain owned real estate files and permanent lease files in Prolease
• Add new leased and owned properties to insurance coverage with Risk (GL & Property)
• Monitor Tenant COIs and enter in Prolease
• Run reports in Prolease to review upcoming action items.
• Send lease renewal details to System Space Planning Committee for approval
• Assist with acquisition due diligence including review of leases and owned real estate
• Assist Facility Manager with interpretation of lease language for maintenance responsibility
• Work with Real Estate Manger and Financial Analyst to develop the annual operating budget and establish CPI increases based on fair market value
• Provide general and administrative support for Real Estate Manager and Financial Analyst

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and/or 5 or more years' experience related to real estate and facility leasing; commercial real estate property valuation preferred.
• Requires utmost discretion in working with confidential information and material.
• Requires managing multiple responsibilities and prioritizing scheduling of work assignments and duties.
• Experience with commercial contracts.
• Paralegal experience helpful; not required.
• Analytical thinking
