Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $38.00 to $45.00 per hour.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and tax basis
  
  
• AP,AR, and review invoices, including vendor coding, approval verification, and budgetary review
  
  
• Monitor daily cash balances, review monthly bank statements, prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow statements
  
  
• Prepare detailed analysis of balance sheet and income statement and research account variances in a timely manner
  
  
• Work closely with all RCMI employees on all issues including tenant and vendor related matters
  
  
• Perform special projects as required by CFO and/or Controller
  
  

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business
  
  
• Proficiency with standard systems and spreadsheets for invoicing and billing
  
  
• Strong Excel skills
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  

• Fundamental understanding of tax and accrual basis accounting
• Real Estate industry experience (preferable)
• Yardi Voyager property management software experience (preferable)
