Part-time Private chef needed for a family of two in Manhattan
Days of the week: Optional, please see below:
A. Both weekend days.
B. One weekend day and one weekday.
C. Two weekend days and one weekday.
Approximate hours: 11am – 8pm
Preparing: lunch and dinner.
Start date: as soon as the right candidate is found.
End date: 6 months to indefinite.
Salary: Negotiable.
Job Description:
Chef will prepare lunch and dinner for two (a single mother with a eight year old son) and for additional guests/dinner parties occasionally.
Chef will also prepare meals to be refrigerated.
Chef will maintain the kitchen and pantry, as well as do the shopping and cleaning of the kitchen.
The chef must embrace organic, plant-based, anti-cancer cooking. The chef must take direction well in an effort to prepare what the client considers healthy and appetizing.
Ideal candidate must be professional but warm and friendly, and have the judgment to provide client with privacy when needed. Ideal candidate will also be a team player, and be willing to assist in ad hoc duties that extend beyond cooking around the home.
