MEP CAD Designer

Position

Our San Jose, CA office is looking for a full-time MEP CAD Designer.

This is NOT a remote opportunity . This is an on-site position at our San Jose office!

Job Description

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Designer will be assisting engineers in the design process
• Working with Engineers to generate complete construction drawings per company standards
• Setting up projects and file systems
• Coordinating with multiple disciplines
• Verification and measurements of field conditions

Qualifications

• Associate’s or technical Degree in drafting/design/Bachelors or be currently enrolled in a program
• High level of proficiency AutoCAD 2018 or newer. Revit is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Construction experience highly desirable
• Extremely high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong time-management skills and an ability to prioritize and execution of requests effectively
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• High energy, ability to multi-task, work independently, and assumes ownership of assignments
• Ability to work with different personalities and varying levels of experience in the firm
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Revu BlueBeam

Salary : $75,000-$95,000/ Yr

Travel: 0-10%
