Scope of Work:

Perform quality system audits and verifications of contractual specifications and applicable regulations in direct support of the military unaccompanied housing contract.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular on-site inspections of contractor-performed maintenance and repair work to ensure adherence to contract requirements, building codes, and relevant standards.
• Evaluate workmanship, materials, and safety practices for compliance and report deficiencies.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily inspection reports documenting findings, progress, and any non-conformance.
• Verify that work aligns with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Monitor and document contractor performance using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Enforce established Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate inspections.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in Quality Control inspections.
• Previous Journeyman-Level work experience in the commercial construction industry in the skilled trades, including Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, and HVAC.
• OSHA Certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check, if required for the position.
• Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk. 
• Frequent use of hands for typing, data entry, and handling paperwork. 
• Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards with appropriate PPE.   
• Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
