Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Onsite) to support the design and delivery of mission-critical data center projects . This role focuses on leading mechanical system design for high-availability environments, working closely with multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction and commissioning.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing HVAC and cooling solutions for data centers, including chilled water systems, air handling, and mechanical plant layouts, ensuring reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for data center infrastructure, including cooling and HVAC systems
• Perform and review load calculations, system sizing, and energy analysis
• Produce and review drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and architectural teams
• Provide onsite technical leadership during construction, supporting RFIs, submittals, and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within data centers or mission-critical facilities
• Strong knowledge of data center cooling systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• PE or working toward licensure preferred
