MDS Coordinator

Contract Position : 12 Weeks
Shift Information: Day
Client : Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Pay Rate :$55/hr -$58/hr on W2
FUNCTION:
The RN MDS Coordinator coordinates and assists with completion and submission of accurate and
timely interdisciplinary MDS Assessments, CAAs, and Care Plans according to CMS RAI Manual
Regulations and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations.
REPORTS TO:
Administrator
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
2. Currently licensed/registered in state of employment.
3. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout
employment.
4. Two (2) years' nursing experience
5. CPR certification must remain current throughout employment.
6. Advanced knowledge in MDS process
7. Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. The RN MDS Coordinator coordinates and assists with completion and submission of accurate
and timely interdisciplinary MDS Assessments, CAAs, and Care Plans according to CMS RAI
Manual Regulations and in accordance with all applicable laws, and regulations.
2. Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to patient rights, and
safety and sanitation.
3. Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc
4. Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
5. Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
