Location: Hybrid in Cupertino, CA (onsite Tues - Thurs)

Duration : 12 months / 40 hrs/week

Pay: up to $56.95/hour, DOE

Planet Interactive is seeking a Localization Project Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract.

This role will work 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Cupertino, CA

Localization Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Responsible for producing e-commerce localized content with limited supervision
• Work closely with vendors to outline expectations and work with other LPMs, and vendors to ensure that localization projects are on track, relevant to the audience, and represent the Company in the marketplace
• Manage the input of localized data into multiple internal and vendor systems without error
• Judge and manage linguistic issues for 39 languages and all territories
• Coordinate projects with vendors, localization team staff, the legal team and other departments across clients localizing Store-related content
• Prioritize tasks, and rapidly apply keen judgment to complex situations.

Localization Project Manager Qualifications:

• BA degree or equivalent
• Linguistic skills in a language other than English; excellent English communication skills
• Project management experience; localization production preferred
• Experience in methods of automating workflow is a plus
• Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
• Understanding of online production processes and a passion for meeting the needs of client’s international customers
• E-commerce – related media experience in the international marketplace is highly desirable
• Apps, TV, Movies – media-related experience a plus.
