Position Summary: Hanwha Global Defense seeks a creative and experienced Senior Digital Manager to execute media campaigns across the defense ecosystem. This role will have a broad portfolio of duties including content creation for Hanwha’s shipbuilding activities and weapons systems, creating and growing social media accounts, developing digital graphics, building and maintaining a company website, and much more.

This role may require international travel as it will help develop narratives regarding our growing shipbuilding and defense businesses across the U.S., Australia, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the U.S. government or defense industry, past use of digital platforms such as Canva and Adobe Premier Pro, and familiarity with working for a communications team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute digital media campaigns to enhance Hanwha Global Defense’s visibility and reputation across global defense markets.
• Create and manage digital content highlighting Hanwha’s shipbuilding activities, advanced weapons systems, and defense technologies.
• Lead the development and growth of social media platforms, ensuring consistent, engaging, and brand-aligned messaging across all channels.
• Design and produce digital graphics, videos, and visual assets using tools such as Canva and Adobe Premiere Pro to support marketing and communications initiatives.
• Build, manage, and maintain the company website, ensuring functionality, timely updates, and alignment with corporate strategy and branding.
• Collaborate with the communications and public affairs teams to craft compelling digital narratives that reinforce Hanwha’s global defense leadership.
• Support media engagement and digital storytelling for major defense exhibitions, product launches, and corporate announcements.
• Coordinate with international offices to adapt digital content and campaigns for regional audiences across the U.S., Australia, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.
• Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for content optimization and audience growth.
• Ensure compliance with defense industry standards and communication protocols, maintaining accuracy and discretion in all published materials.

Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years working in digital/video content for the Pentagon, Capitol Hill, or defense industry.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and on quick deadlines.
• Experience in building and maintaining social media accounts, creating digital graphics, drafting copy, and video production/editing.
• Creative, out-of-the-box storytelling.
• Understands the global national security/foreign policy space.
