Job Overview: Harr Collision Center is a brand new state of the art facility. As the only Toyota Certified Collision Center in Central Mass we are very busy and looking for one experienced licensed Appraiser. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Appraiser to join our team. As an Auto Appraiser, you will be responsible for assessing the value of vehicles and determining the extent of damage for insurance claims. Your expertise in analyzing vehicle conditions and knowledge of automotive repair will be crucial in accurately appraising vehicles. Duties:
- Inspect vehicles to assess damages and determine repair costs
- Analyze vehicle condition, including mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic aspects
- Utilize knowledge of auto body repair, automotive service, and vehicle maintenance to accurately assess damages - Accurately ordering parts as needed for repairs
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and policyholders to provide accurate appraisal information
- Prepare detailed appraisal reports outlining damages, repairs needed, and estimated costs
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in automotive technology Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to assess vehicle damages and determine repair costs
- Knowledge of auto restoration techniques and mechanical components of vehicles
- Excellent negotiation skills to ensure fair pricing with insurance companies
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and insurance policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with insurance adjusters and policyholders
