Position Summary

The Nurse Recruiter plays a key role in growing and sustaining our local nursing workforce. This position is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and placing qualified nursing professionals into per diem, travel, and contract roles across California. You’ll collaborate closely with our account management, credentialing, and payroll teams to ensure a seamless experience for both clinicians and clients.

This is a fast-paced role for someone who loves connecting with people, building relationships, and helping nurses find opportunities where they can make a difference.

Responsibilities:

• Source, screen, and recruit qualified Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), and Allied Health professionals for contract, per diem, and travel assignments.
• Build strong relationships with clinicians through phone calls, texts, and digital engagement to understand their goals, preferences, and availability.
• Maintain an active pipeline of candidates by leveraging job boards, social media, referrals, and internal databases.
• Present candidates to clients with professionalism and urgency while ensuring alignment with job requirements.
• Partner with credentialing to ensure timely compliance and onboarding of all new hires.
• Collaborate with the sales and account management teams to understand client needs and anticipate future staffing demands.
• Work closely with a Recruiting Assistant for submission packets, job postings, pipeline funneling, and other administrative or operational support functions.
• Track and manage candidate activity using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
• Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs for submissions, placements, and revenue contribution.
• Represent ATC West Healthcare Services in a positive, professional manner consistent with our core values and brand message: “You care for others, we care for you.”
  

Qualifications:

· 1–3 years of recruiting experience in healthcare staffing (preferred) or high-volume sales/recruiting role.

· Experience using job board platforms such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn to source candidates.

· Strong understanding of nursing specialties, healthcare facility needs, and staffing workflows.

· Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with a genuine passion for helping others.

· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience using an ATS/CRM (e.g., Manatal, JobDiva, Bullhorn, or similar).

· Self-motivated, performance-driven, and comfortable working with metrics and goals.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
