Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bookkeeping, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Assist with budget preparations and forecasting
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support as needed
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
