We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team, working with elementary through high school students. As a provider of personalized tutoring, both in-home and online, our mission is to offer students an enriching learning experience that adapts to their individual needs. Position Highlights:

You will work with students in their homes or through virtual sessions, depending on their needs and preferences.
Your role will involve creating personalized lessons, helping with homework, supporting test preparation, and fostering students' confidence in English.
You'll have the flexibility to work with students from grades 1 to 12, depending on your expertise.

Job Requirements:

Must have NJ Standard Teaching Certification or NJ Special Education Certification.
Comfortable teaching 1st - 8th grade English or 9th - 12th grade English.
Ability to assess students' needs and create customized lessons to help them succeed.
Support students in preparing for tests, quizzes, and exams.
Assist students with their homework and reinforce classroom concepts.
Maintain a positive and motivating environment, encouraging students to stay on track with their studies.
Flexibility to meet students in-person at mutually agreed locations within a reasonable distance.
Ability to teach online if necessary, utilizing virtual tools.

Experience:

NJ Standard Teaching Certification or NJ Special Education Certification (active or retired).
Previous tutoring experience is a plus but not required.
Experience in preparing lesson plans for both in-person and online formats is preferred.

Position Details:

Job Type: Part-time
Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 1 - 4 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend availability if preferred.
