Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team in Redmond, WA . This role involves firmware development, debugging, and integration for hardware products. The ideal candidate should have expertise in C, Python, and Git , along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and debug embedded firmware using C and Python .
• Modify existing firmware to meet new standards and perform unit testing .
• Reproduce, investigate, and resolve code errors independently .
• Integrate firmware patches and collect debug data from devices.
• Work with hardware for device flashing, log collection, and debugging .
• Analyze test results to support debugging efforts.
• Create clear and concise technical documentation .

Key Projects:

• Firmware development for hardware devices.
• Low-level software development for embedded systems .

Required Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in firmware development or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience .
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with C programming .
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with Python scripting .
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with Git .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in embedded systems (device flashing, JTAG debugging, etc.).
• Familiarity with VS Code .
• Rust programming experience is a plus.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design .
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work with global teams across different time zones (India, China).
