Job Description

Cedar Park Med is seeking Echo Technicians for immediate job openings.

Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30, weekend rotation, holiday call rotation, and rotation between inpatient and outpatient facilities

Requirements:

• Must have must have six months of full-ti me paid experience in the operation of an EKG machine within the last three years OR successful completion of a course in the operation of an EKG machine within the last three years.
• Experience with terminology and EKG rhythms is required.
• A certificate from an approved echocardiology program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Duties: 

• Responsible for processing EKG's for patient care. 
• Transcribe, edit and distribute EKC's to patient care areas for inclusion in medical record. 
• Will need to be able to scan, process and distribute Holter Monitor tests results to the Cardiologist for review and then edit for inclusion in patient medical record. 
• Will provide quality control feedback to the floors performing EKC's.
