Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW : Serves as a supervisor for JFK’s mobile emergency teams assigned to night/weekend crisis response. We are seeking two, part-time Shift Supervisors who will ensure the delivery of clinically appropriate, community-based crisis response services:

• Monitors the delivery of crisis response services for night/weekend team members, ensure the team(s) adhere to clinical performance standards; 
• Participates as a member of the emergency team as needed; on-call responsibility as assigned.
• Liaisons with Philadelphia Crisis Line personnel regarding night/weekend mobile team status & activity.
• Coordinates shift logistics (i.e.- vehicles, technology devices/software) and maintains resources & supplies.
• Assists in facilitating staff orientation and training; reviews protocol and procedure updates.

• Understand the social factors which contribute to attitudes and behaviors
• Can establish rapport among industry stakeholders involved in community crisis response 
• Have an awareness of the laws, regulations and rules governing the provision of behavioral health services 

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE :

• Master’s degree in the behavioral or social sciences. Three (3) years’ experience conducting mental health assessments; crisis intervention. One (1) year supervisory experience.

Schedule: Sun-Tues: 8pm-4am -or- Thursday-Saturday 8pm-4am.

Must be able to commit to 20 hours of paid training during normal business hours.

Location: Center City Philadelphia, accessible to SEPTA, Regional Rail and NJ Transit
