Position Title: Catering Cook
Location: Schoenstatt Retreat Center, Wisconsin
FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Catering Cook to join our kitchen team and assist in preparing meals for retreats, catered events, and conferences. This role is ideal for someone with experience in off-site catering or retreat-based food service, and a passion for working in a values-driven, peaceful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cook and assist in food preparation for catered events and guest services.
• Prepare food ingredients, maintain kitchen organization, and assist during service.
• Participate in setup and breakdown of dining and serving spaces.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure meals are delivered on time and to standard.
• Assist in inventory tracking and replenishment of kitchen supplies.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in catering or event-focused food service.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Comfortable with both solo tasks and collaborative cooking.
• Positive attitude, especially during high-demand meal periods.
• Reliable means of getting to and from work.
