SUMMARY

In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring smooth product processing, packaging, and material handling operations in a safe and organized manufacturing environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute manufacturing procedures for production batches.
• Organize and manage raw material and supply inventories.
• Communicate effectively with plant personnel to ensure seamless operations.
• Accurately maintain records of manufacturing data.
• Package products according to established procedures.
• Transport products and raw materials between production and warehousing areas.
• Safely load and unload bulk raw material and finished goods shipments.
• Perform minor maintenance on production equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the plant area.
• Monitor and handle hazardous waste containers following procedures.
• Successfully complete required D.O.T. Hazmat and RCRA training.
• Participate in emergency response programs and follow procedures.
• Work overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lift 25-55 lbs. bags and 5-gallon liquid containers to heights up to 70 inches.
• Handle tasks like overhead reaching, bending, squatting, climbing stairs/ladders, and operating forklifts.
• Wash vessels and use material handling equipment such as forklifts, swinglifts, and pallet jacks.
• Operate production equipment and communicate effectively via phone and radio.
• Remain clean-shaven to wear SCBA and other respirators safely.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately follow manufacturing procedures and write/read in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and math aptitude.
• Minimum of 5 years in chemical manufacturing, with experience in temperature, pressure, distillations, and filtration monitoring.
