What You’ll Do: • Learn to conduct thorough coating inspections on various construction projects. • Complete detailed field inspection reports and document findings accurately. • Use specialized field-testing equipment and assist with testing on-site. • Work alongside our experienced engineering team, gaining hands-on experience. • Adhere to Dixon Engineering’s inspection techniques, safety standards, and construction methodology. Responsibilities: • Oversee coating and construction activities, ensuring strict conformance to project specifications throughout the process. • Use testing instruments and devices to conduct thorough inspections at various stages of the project. • Approve quality work practices, document specification violations, and generate detailed daily inspection reports. • Maintain accurate and comprehensive daily records, including photos, for project inspection documentation. Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record required. • High school diploma required; some college or technical education in inspection technology, engineering, construction management, or construction technology is a plus. • Ability to pass a physical examination and work at heights safely. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction projects. • Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality work in a construction environment. • Strong communication and documentation skills to ensure accurate reporting. • Basic computer skills are required for reporting and recordkeeping. • Positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic. • Ability to resolve conflicts and maintain professionalism on the job site. • Organized, punctual, and able to manage time effectively. • Proven ability to demonstrate safe work habits on construction sites. Compensation: $21 - $35 hourly
