JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical center in Georgia seeking a BE/BC Wound Care Medical Director to join the team. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package offered. About position:Monday - Friday, 8-5pmProvide clinical assessment, evaluation and on-site treatment of all wounds (per Clinical Practice Guidelines)Provide clear and standardized documentation for each patientDevelop personalized action plan for each patient, discuss with Treatment NurseNotify facility staff of potential schedule delays, provide as much advance notice as possibleWrite individual physician orders, if required by facilitySupport Treatment Nurse and appropriate facility staff with education, training and mentorship HOSPITAL:We serve 400,000 residents in a 15-county medical service area covering South Georgia and North Florida.
