A Day In The Life Duties and Responsibilities - Responsible for welding steel and aluminum components to assemble structural forms

- Layout, align, fit and weld fabricated steel and aluminum components
\n
- Read and understand blueprints
\n
- Strong attention to detail regarding alignment, dimensions, and general inspection
\n
- Perform work involving close tolerances that require constant attention while making adjustments to perform properly
\n
What will help you thrive in this role? Skills and Experience \n - Knowledge and technique of MIG welding
\n - Must have the ability to read a tape measure
\n - Ability to regularly move, twist, bend, and crouch while working
\n - Dependable with a good attendance record
\n - Mechanical aptitude
\n - Ability to read blue prints and weld assemblies to comply with the engineering standards
\n - Experience with a handheld plasma cutter a plus
\n - Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required with Vocational Training and/or Technical Education preferred
