We are a rapidly growing Furniture Distribution company looking for a Warehouse Associates - Equipment Operators. Our ideal candidate needs to be an individual who takes the initiative and works independently. Our goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

We have General Warehouse and Equipment operators positions available - Stand Up Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Lift or Turret

Responsibilities:

• Operate cherry pickers and other equipment such as, pallet jacks, reach lifts, and turret trucks to retrieve products from high shelving units.
• General Warehouse for building pallets, wrapping and strapping. Loading and unloading containers.
• Utilize the warehouse management system to track inventory levels and ensure accurate order fulfilment.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed to maintain safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and safety issues.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
• Handle materials with care to prevent damage and ensure proper storage.
• Sort, pack, wrap, tie, and label products in accordance with company procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and processes
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day
Ability to lift, stand, bend, stoop and reach
Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
Must be able to read shipping tags, documents and any work related paperwork
Proficient in using RF scanners for order picking
Cherry Picker, Reach Lift or Turret Forklift preferred
