Position Summary The Warehouse Associate will use safe lifting techniques, efficiently sort, handle, and load/unload freight from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and/or straight trucks by using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts in the loading and unloading of freight and other tasks as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions of a Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to the following:
- Operates all material handling equipment safely including standup forklift
- Working with different departments to meet demands of the business
- Communicating any issues to the supervisor that can arise from loading and unloading
- Keeping up to date with new systems and technology
- Performs all job tasks assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well with a team
- Proficient in attention to detail
- Forklift certified (not required, we will train you!)
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

The employee is occasionally required to maneuver about the work areas and move/manipulate various objects. This position may require extended work hours and travel.
