Overview Volunteer opportunity for a Wordpress developer to improve Disaster Accountability Project's website. The role is to take over the current redesign and implement improvements that are relatively easy to update. We are seeking volunteers to help small-sized/local NGOs with creating their own Wordpress websites as needed. Responsibilities Take over the ongoing Wordpress website redesign and implement improvements. Develop a user-friendly, easy-to-update site for ongoing content management. Collaborate with the Disaster Accountability Project team to align the website with organizational goals. Assist small NGOs around the world with creating their own Wordpress websites when possible (volunteer support). Qualifications Experience with Wordpress development and site maintenance. Strong communication and collaboration skills for volunteer work. About Disaster Accountability Project The Disaster Accountability Project (DAP) is a nonprofit organization that provides long-term independent oversight of disaster management systems. It engages a dedicated community to advance policy research and advocacy, promote transparency, and encourage public participation in oversight, community-based organizing, and discussions about disaster preparedness and relief.
