Position: Video Editor & Videographer

About the Role:

The Julian Dorey Podcast is looking for an exceptional Video Editor & Videographer to become the first full-time creative on the production team. This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to work directly with Julian Dorey and help elevate the podcast to its next level of growth and influence.

Primary Duties:

1. Create high-volume, high-quality vertical videos from podcast content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok.
2. Capture behind-the-scenes footage using professional camera equipment that you own and operate, then edit that footage into compelling short-form social content.
3. Manage and post content across all of Julian Dorey’s social media platforms, ensuring consistency and quality.
4. Edit with expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, maintaining a fast turnaround without sacrificing quality.
5. Demonstrate an editing style with beauty, pacing, and storytelling comparable to the intros of The Diary of a CEO podcast by Steven Bartlett.
6. Work Directly with Julian Dorey on a day to day basis as his first ever videographer to take this show to the next level.
7. Must be located in very close proximity to Hoboken New Jersey.

Requirements:

• Must provide portfolio of previous videography and editing work
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and post-production workflows
• Proven ability to shoot and edit cinematic-quality video content
• Preferably experience creating viral social content in a podcast or creator-led media environment
• Ownership and mastery of professional camera gear
• Must be proficient in storytelling
• Self-motivated, organized, and deadline-driven
• This opportunity is for a 1099 Contractor
• Must be based within very close proximity to Hoboken, NJ (7 Mile Radius)
