THE ROLE

On Location has been appointed as the Official Hospitality Provider of the FIFA World Cup 26! The Vice President, Event Production will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables for their group are fulfilled at a high standard and on time. The Vice President will be a capable manager with team and events know-how, sound financial practices, project planning, team building skills, and mentoring abilities.

The ideal candidate must have extensive event marketing experience, internal team management experience, client service communication, be well organized, a self-starter, able to work with a variety of people with varying work styles, can prioritize workload, and have a drive to continue working until the job is done. This position reports to Sr. Vice President, Event Production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead a team of event production individuals to deliver the best product for the client and the work group.
  2. Strategic ability to conceive, develop and implement programs that build client brand and provide a foundation to drive client business growth.
  3. Develop and maintain an effective organization through selection, training, compensation, motivation, and performance management.
  4. Manage internal and external staff on execution and delivery of programs.
  5. Is highly proficient in budgeting and tracking of multi-million-dollar accounts and ensure fiscal management of each meets agency standards.
  6. Possess and can develop key vendor/partners related to our business so we are delivering the best product and pricing for our clients.
  7. Ability to lead large scale live events with multiple agencies, vendor, and client involvement.
  8. Responsible for overseeing procurement with assigned Legal team, to secure MSAs for this and future business.
  9. Able to position yourself as a leader within the team and company to help lead growth and development of organization.
  10. Will lead the collaboration of production, accounts, creative, digital, travel, and other company divisions to ensure the best production product possible.
  11. Can apply best practices and learnings from previous projects to elevate performance level.
  12. Will create accountability practices within company.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Minimum 10 years event marketing, production, and team management experience.
  2. Production of live events, tours, and fabrication of event elements necessary.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or equivalent experience in related field.
  4. Motivational leadership, inspiring team to deliver top performance against assigned business.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills – will contribute culturally to the agency.
  6. Must possess strong working relationships with multiple national and local vendors to fulfill a wide variety of fabrication and event production needs for the company.
  7. Strong management skills; prior internal staff management of a large group and multiple direct reports.
  8. Can manage the production group in the office and field. Able to help integrate that team across multiple offices and divisions.
  9. Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage numerous programs and resources simultaneously- Microsoft Project or similar planning tool experience preferred.
  10. Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge.
  11. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to communicate across all groups in the company and clients.
  12. A thoroughly developed knowledge of our industry, products, and services, as well as those of our competitors and clients.
  13. Willing and able to work nonstandard work hours, weekends and travel as required.
  14. Must have professional appearance and persona with a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
  15. Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  16. A willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) and work flexible hours.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Range Minimum: $150,000 annually

Hiring Range Maximum: $200,000 annually
