Job Description

The Founder Affiliate role is designed for startup founders who are currently building or have previously built businesses but are interested in collaborating with Mobius Ventures. As a Founder Affiliate you will leverage your unique perspective experience and network to help identify evaluate and support highpotential startups while maintaining your entrepreneurial endeavors. This role offers a chance to contribute to the broader startup ecosystem while gaining insights into the venture capital process.

1. Identifying and Sourcing Startups

• Use your firsthand experience and network to identify promising startups aligned with Mobius Ventures investment focus.
• Serve as a referral point for founders seeking investment mentorship or resources.

2. Mentoring and Advising

• Offer advice and mentorship to earlystage founders within Mobius Ventures network.
• Share actionable insights on navigating challenges in product development scaling fundraising and team building.

3. Investment Evaluation Support

• Provide feedback on potential investments based on your entrepreneurial expertise.
• Collaborate with the investment team to analyze startups business models and market potential.

4. Ecosystem Advocacy

• Represent Mobius Ventures at industry events acting as a thought leader and advocate for the firm.
• Promote collaboration between founders investors and ecosystem stakeholders.

Qualifications

Entrepreneurial Experience:

• Current or former startup founder with a track record of building and scaling a business.
• Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by earlystage companies.

Ecosystem Connectivity:

• Strong relationships within startup ecosystems including other founders accelerators and industry leaders.
• Experience fundraising or working with investors is highly valuable.

Collaborative Spirit:

• Enthusiastic about helping other founders succeed and supporting Mobius Ventures mission.
• Effective communicator with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
