The Kearney Companies is a Site & Utilities Construction Contractor based in Riverview, FL with job sites in the Tampa, FL area. Locally owned and operated, we have been in business for over 65 years; we offer competitive pay and excellent benefits. Recent growth has led to opportunities to join our established civil construction company in the Tampa / Riverview area. We currently have multiple openings for a Vac (Vacuum) Truck Driver / Operator who will be able to safely operate the Vac (vacuum) system outside the Vac (Vacuum) truck.

*Vac (Vacuum ) Truck Driver / Operator Qualifications:*
* Applicants MUST have valid Class A or B CDL and be able to:
* Unload and load hoses/clamps
* Safely operate the on-board vacuum system outside the vacuum truck and perform other duties such as clean-up, mobilization, and general maintenance of the equipment to ensure the unit operates at max capacity.
* Clean and maintain equipment
* Follow additional instruction from the foreman
* Work various assignments in the Tampa area
* Work Saturdays

***This is a very labor-intensive position***

Preference will be given to candidates with tanker endorsements who have experience operating and maintaining a vacuum truck in a construction environment.

*License/Certification:*
* Tanker Endorsement (Preferred)
* CDL A or CDL B (Preferred)
