Our growing California family law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney, licensed in California, who is passionate about helping clients through challenging times and has hands-on litigation experience in child custody, child support, spousal support, and divorce matters.

With a team of talented legal professionals and a commitment to client-centered service, our firm is rapidly growing as we continue to deliver exceptional results.

We’re looking for someone who is a detail-oriented “people person” with excellent writing skills, strong emotional intelligence, and comfort with using legal tech and structured systems. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a hybrid setup—working independently but also collaboratively with a supportive team.

We offer a drama-free and supportive workplace with team members ranging from 1.5 years to 17 years with the firm.

Responsibilities

• Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
• Manage the division of marital assets
• Conduct initial consultations with potential clients
• Help solve legal problems for clients by analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
• Collaborate with team members to effectively move cases through the divorce, custody, and/or the support process
• Use technology such as Clio, Slack, Lawmatics, and Lexis to assist in case management , research, and communications

Qualifications

• Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high
• Member in good standing with the California State Bar
• 2 years or more of recent and significant experience as a family law attorney is required
• Experience conducting initial consultations
• Experience in litigating child custody, child support, spousal support, and divorce

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: 
• $120,000 to $170,000 annually, depending on experience and skill set
• Lucrative Annual Bonuses tied to reasonable billable hour goals. We also offer an annual bonus based on other performance measures.
