JOB TITLE (#2350): Nurse Practitioner / Urgent Care - Bronx, NY

Minimum of 6 months experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with an urgent care facility located in Bronx, New York.

Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:

• Develop and implement treatment plans that are appropriate for each patient’s condition or illness
• Conduct physical examinations and tests to diagnose conditions, infections, disease processes, etc.
• Provide advice to patients about health maintenance, hygiene practices, diet modification, medication use, etc.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as wound culture, urinalysis, and blood tests
• Treat minor wounds, cuts, and other injuries using sterile techniques to prevent infection
• Provide educational services to patients regarding their illness or injury
• Order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays or laboratory tests, to help determine the cause of an injury or illness
• Communicate with other healthcare team members to discuss patient care plans
• Provide counseling services to patients with behavioral health problems

Requirements

• Must have an active NY State License
• Must be Board Certified
• Must have at least 6 months of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

• The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 / yr
• This is a Full-time, Part-time, or Per-Diem position (minimum of 2 days a week)
