Part-Time Weekends Saturday & Sunday 6am-6pm
Role Overview Security Engineers is seeking dedicated unarmed patrol security officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid ASRB license as required by the state licensing authority Valid driver's license from state of residence Must be at least 18 years old Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
Patrol & Surveillance Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity Incident Response & Reporting Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors) Customer Service & Policy Enforcement Assist visitors and employees professionally Enforce site-specific post orders and security protocols Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
Minimum Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Weekend availability Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting Preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Physical Requirements (subject to change based on client-specific needs) Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break Walk a minimum of mile without stopping Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping Education & Experience Minimum High school diploma or equivalent No prior experience required Preferred 1+ years verifiable military, law enforcement or security experience 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience Note: Responsibilities and requirements listed are not exhaustive.
