Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Dispatcher (Yard Operations) to coordinate and manage the scheduling of deliveries and routes in a yard and warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of dispatch experience, ensuring drivers are assigned efficiently while maintaining Federal DOT compliance. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to interact with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries, ensuring efficient yard operations.
• Monitor and adjust delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and warehouse teams to provide real-time updates and address any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with Federal DOT guidelines and maintain accurate driver logs.
• Oversee yard movement and coordinate with warehouse personnel to optimize loading and unloading.
• Use dispatch software, GPS tracking, and other tools to track fleet activity.
• Handle unexpected delays, reroutes, and other logistical challenges efficiently.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of dispatch experience, preferably in a yard, warehouse, or logistics setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with Federal DOT regulations and transportation logistics.
• Proficiency in dispatch software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus but not required.
