Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 4x12-Hour (18:30 – 07:00)
Schedule: Option of 36 or 48 hours per week; weekends as needed

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at the Heart Hospital provides intermediate-level care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. This high-acuity unit manages patients with CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, and other cardiac-related diagnoses. Nurses must have strong cardiovascular and telemetry experience and be comfortable with patient ratios of 1:4–5. Travelers may float to like units within scope as needed. First-time travelers are accepted. Documentation is completed in EPIC.
RequirementsLicensure: Valid NM RN License or Compact RN License – Required (Must be in hand at submission)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years RN experience preferred (1 year may be considered)

\tProcedural sedation monitoring
\tChest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac)
\tOxygen delivery, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC
\tFeeding tube care
\tWound care and wound vac
\tOther Skills:
