\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work on 36-bed medical telemetry unit (5W Medicine) with 50+ staff members
\n• Day shift ratios: 1:5/6 patients per RN with staffing grid of 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC and 1-2 sitters
\n• Night shift ratios: 1:6/7 patients per RN with staffing grid of 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 0.5 HUC and 1-2 sitters
\n• Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts on night shift)
\n• Float to sister units: Med-Surge 3W, 5W, K8 as needed
\n• Work with medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), and VC150s in every patient room
\n• Use work station on wheels and Tap and Go system for computer/documentation access
\n• Prepare patients for Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and Operating Room procedures
\n• Use Cerner EMR system for documentation
\n• Required certifications: BLS (required), CMSRN (encouraged)
\n• Must have medical telemetry experience
\n• Preferred qualifications: Leadership experience, Charge Nurse experience, BSN degree
\n• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs (top and bottom), white top with navy bottom, or all white scrubs
\n• Ideal candidate is hard-working, compassionate, team-oriented, and enjoys fast-paced environment
