• Healthcare Setting: Nursery Unit (40 beds)\n
• Assignment Duration: 13-week travel contract\n
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7P - 7A)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; no on-call\n
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1260-$1350\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license (Texas or compact state)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursery or mother-baby nursing experience\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification\n
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification\n
• STABLE certification\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, team-oriented personality\n

\n\nNursing Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver compassionate nursing care for newborns and Level 2 babies, including phototherapy and blood sugar monitoring\n
• Collaborate with a skilled team of 4-5 nurses and 1 CNC per shift\n
• Accurately document patient care using Meditech and CPN EMR systems\n
• Perform routine nursery procedures, assessments, and support mother-baby care and education\n
• Float to other areas within the nursery unit as needed\n
