    Job Details

  • The Invasive Cardiology Manager is a registered nurse with transformational leadership skills and expertise in care of patients undergoing invasive cardiovascular procedures in Cath labs and EP lab.
  • Responsible for planning, implementation, and evaluation of inpatient and outpatient care programs for adult and pediatric patients undergoing invasive cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Manages day-to-day clinical operations, maintains nursing practice standards, and upholds nursing code of ethics to ensure high quality and safe patient care.

    Job Requirements

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of demonstrated leadership experience required (Charge Nurse, Educator or other leadership development preparation).
  • Knowledge of academic medical center structure, service-line structures, institutional governance and hierarchy of decision process.
  • Skills in planning, coordinating and measuring departmental activities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and managerial functions such as experience with performance improvement tools, using metrics to drive decisions, maintaining a budget, report writing and problem solving.
  • Ability to leverage resources including technology to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver on organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of industry standards to aid strategic decisions, problem solving and risk calculation.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to mediate with individuals/groups.
  • Cognizant of unconscious and systemic bias in care delivery and business operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles to cooperation and foster harmonious relations.
  • Ability to maintain integrity and trust among leadership and staff.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate individuals, groups/cross-functional teams and provide project management support.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills characterized by candor, openness, integrity and diplomacy.
