Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and proficiency in EPIC for a dynamic interventional radiology department.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an interventional radiology setting handling a range of procedures including angiograms, venograms, embolization, PICC, and neuro thrombectomy cases
• Adult patient population with varied caseload and acuity
• Procedures performed using advanced equipment such as EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with one weekday call every other week and additional call responsibilities including occasional weekend call
• Potential to float between different campuses within the system as needed based on staffing and case volume
• EPIC is used for charting and previous experience is required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Responsibilities include performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures and participating in on-call rotation
• Candidates may be required to float between campuses within their scope of practice as staffing needs dictate
• Return staff must have a minimum one-year break from any prior full-time, part-time, or per diem position to be eligible as a traveler
• Expect to work some holidays as part of shift coverage
• Scrubs or apparel must be entirely free of agency or brand logos
• Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces; refrigerator and microwave provided on-site

\n \n Requirements\n

• ARRT and BLS certifications required
• KY radiology license (KBMIRT) required or must be obtained before starting; license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of recent interventional radiology technologist experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system required
• Must be able to perform listed IR procedures and utilize specialized equipment
• COVID and Flu vaccinations are required; medical or religious exemptions accepted
• Must comply with appearance requirements including no nose rings or gauged earrings and natural fingernails under 1/4 inch in length
• At least two supervisor references are required for consideration
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius to qualify for travel pay rates
